Templates

The Templates tab of an eBay store's settings is where you choose the design of your listings' description, for one region and supplier.

It opens from eBay Stores > Edit > region > supplier > Templates (eBay Stores). Each region and supplier has its own templates.

Choosing the template

  1. In the Templates tab click the template you want to use, or No template to use none.
  2. Click Save Changes.

The chosen template is applied to the drafts and monitored listings of that region and supplier; it may take some time before all listings on eBay are updated. For new drafts the template is used as the description if Use template for description is on in General (General store settings).

To apply the current template again to all listings, for example after editing it, tick Apply the template to all listings and click Save Changes.

Creating a template

Click New template in the list to create a template from a library design or from your own HTML code. The procedure is in Create a template. The new template appears in the list but is not in use yet: choose it and save as described above.

Editing a template

Click the edit icon on the template: the template editor opens in a new browser tab. After you save it, Droopify automatically updates the drafts and listings that use it: it may take some time before all listings on eBay are updated. The update shows in the Operations History as "Template and policies update".

Deleting a template

Click the delete icon on the template: Confirm template deletion opens. The template in use can't be deleted: choose another one and save first. The procedure is in Delete a template.
