Amazon account

2 min read

How to manage an Amazon account already connected on the Supplier Accounts page: OTP code, disconnecting, logging in again and errors.

The table columns are described in Supplier Accounts; Account Status, Maximum daily orders and Maximum loss limit in Edit a supplier account. To connect a new account see Add Supplier Account.

OTP code

While connecting, Droopify becomes the authenticator app of your Amazon account. That's why the OTP Code column shows the 6-digit verification code valid right now: use it when Amazon asks for it, for example when you sign in to Amazon from a new device.

The code changes after a short time: click the OTP row (arrow icon) to generate an updated one. If the account is not connected the code does not refresh.

Disconnecting the Amazon account

With Disconnect you close the Amazon session saved by Droopify: the account stays in the list as not connected and is not used until you log in again. The procedure is in Disconnect a supplier account.

Logging in again

When the login has expired (the row shows Your login session has expired. Please log in again to continue.) or after disconnecting, click Log In on the row: Add Amazon Account opens with the data already filled in and you only need to enter the Password. The procedure is in Add Supplier Account.

If you changed the 2FA key on Amazon, delete the account (if it is connected, disconnect it first) and connect it again from scratch with the new key: Delete a supplier account.

Login errors

If the login fails, at the end the error message with the reason appears, the table refreshes and the account stays not connected with the reason on the row.

Disabled account

If the row shows The Amazon account is disabled. The account will not be used for automatic orders and order monitoring., Account Status is off. This happens when you turn it off, or when Amazon limits access to the account and asks for a verification: in that case Droopify turns it off by itself. Complete the verification on the Amazon website, then turn Account Status back on with Edit (Edit a supplier account).
