Operations History

3 min read

The Operations History popup shows the operations started from the Drafts and Inventory pages and their outcome. It is mostly used to follow the operations still running.

It is not a price history: it doesn't show how the price of a product or listing changed over time. Droopify doesn't offer a price history of products yet.

Where it opens

The button with the history icon sits at the top of the table, to the left of the filters, on the Drafts and Inventory pages. The number on the button shows how many operations are still pending or in progress (above 99 it shows "99+"); with no running operations there is no number.

When an operation ends, the page table refreshes on its own.

On the left there is a menu with the sections; the popup always opens on the first one. Next to each section you see the number of its running operations.

PageSectionWhat it shows
DraftsDraft CreationThe products you asked to turn into a draft
DraftsOperationsSingle and bulk edits on drafts
InventoryOperationsSingle and bulk edits on listings

Each page shows only the operations that concern it.

Draft Creation rows

Each row is a product. It shows the supplier logo (Amazon or AliExpress) and the Supplier PID: if it is a link, it opens the product page at the supplier in a new tab. Below it is the date of the request.

IconTextMeaning
Loading"Draft creation in progress..."The draft is pending or being created
Green check"Draft created successfully"The draft was created and appears in the Drafts table
Red XThe reason for the error, or "Draft creation failed" if no reason is availableThe draft was not created

Operations rows

Each row is an operation you started, including those started from other pages: editing or deleting a template ("Template and policies update") and synchronizing untracked listings ("Supplier product link update"). Updates Droopify makes on its own, for example restoring the quantity on eBay after a sale, are not shown. The title is Single edit for one draft or listing, Bulk edit (with the number of products in brackets, when known) for bulk edits. Below it is the start date.

The text on the right says which fields were changed, for example "Title update", "Profit update", "eBay store change", "Price monitoring", "Publication scheduling", "Values reset" (after Reset Changes); several fields are separated by commas. If the operation has no field with its own name, the text uses "Edit".

IconTextMeaning
Loading"{fields} in progress..."The operation is pending or in progress
Green check"{fields} completed successfully"The operation has ended
Red X"{fields} failed: {reason}" or "{fields} failed" if no reason is availableThe operation did not succeed

The reason is a Droopify message, for example "Some AI generations or eBay synchronizations failed. The content is still saved on Droopify.", or eBay's text as it is.

Load more and empty state

Operations are sorted from the most recent; the popup shows 100 at a time. If there are more, Load more appears at the bottom: each click adds the next 100.

If a section has no operations you see "No operations" with the text "Here you'll see the history of your operations once you run some.". To close the popup use Close History.

An operation shows as failed

In both sections the failed row shows the reason, when it is available: in the Operations section after the field names ("{fields} failed: {reason}"), in the Draft Creation section instead of "Draft creation failed".

  1. Read the reason.
  2. Check in the table whether the draft or listing has the values you expected.
  3. For draft creation, look the message up in the Possible errors section of Create a draft.
  4. For drafts see Draft problems; for listings reread the page of the edit you made, listed in Inventory.
  5. Fix what the reason points out and run the operation again.

If it keeps failing, contact support with the page, the section, the date of the operation and a screenshot of the row.
