Draft price
This page describes the Price section of the edit popup of a draft or a variant, which you open from the Drafts page.
Fields of the Price section
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Stock Monitoring | If off, availability no longer follows the supplier |
| Default Quantity | Quantity on sale when the product is available, restored after each sale |
| Availability | Available or Not available. If you change it by hand, Droopify no longer updates it from the supplier |
| Price Monitoring | If on, the selling price follows the supplier keeping your markup; if off, it stays fixed |
| Selling Price | Price on eBay |
| Purchase Price | Price at the supplier, read only |
| Variation Type | % (Percentage of cost) or Unit (Fixed profit) |
| Profit Percentage / Unit (Fixed profit) | Your markup: the field name follows the Variation Type |
| Price Cents | Fixed cents of the price (for example 99). Empty to not use them |
| VAT (%) | VAT used in the calculation; enabled only if the store has a business account |
| eBay Fees | Summary of purchase, profit, fees and VAT |
How the fields are recalculated
The fields are linked:
- if you change the markup, Variation Type or Price Cents, the Selling Price is recalculated;
- if you change Selling Price or VAT (%), profit, fees and markup are recalculated;
- if you type a price with cents different from the fixed ones, Price Cents is aligned and a notice appears.
With a negative profit the notice "Warning: you are setting a negative profit, you will sell at a loss." appears, but you can save.
Edited fields
Next to changed fields (Edited) appears: hover it to read the consequences.
- A price edited by hand no longer follows the store's price settings: when the supplier price changes, Droopify recalculates the selling price with your values.
- An availability set by hand is no longer updated from the supplier.
To go back to the store settings use Reset Changes, which resets all the draft's fields (Edit a draft). Default price settings are changed in the store (eBay Stores); to change the price of several drafts together use Bulk Edit Drafts.
