Reconnect eBay stores
The Reconnect your eBay stores now popup appears on its own when Droopify has lost the connection with one or more of your eBay stores.
When it appears
It opens when you enter the dashboard and at least one eBay store is disconnected, even if it is not among the visible stores. It appears again until you reconnect all stores. The number next to Settings in the side menu also counts the stores to reconnect.
A store shows as disconnected when the authorization you gave Droopify on eBay is no longer valid, for example because it expired or was revoked.
What it shows
The popup says: "One or more of your eBay stores are disconnected. Reconnect them as soon as possible: until you do, your orders, messages and listings won't sync and you may run into serious issues.". Below is the list of disconnected stores, each with the message "Store disconnected. Click to reconnect it and sign in to eBay with this store's account.".
Reconnecting a store
- Click the store in the list: the eBay login page opens.
- Sign in to eBay with that store's account and authorize Droopify. eBay doesn't let Droopify choose the account for you: if your browser is already signed in to eBay with another account, sign out of eBay first.
- eBay brings you back to the eBay Stores page with the store connected again.
If you sign in to eBay with an account other than the one of the store you clicked, the store is not connected and Could not reconnect the eBay store because you signed in to eBay with a different account. Sign out of eBay and try again by signing in with the account of the store you want to reconnect. appears.
Alternatively click Manage eBay Stores: the eBay Stores page opens, where you reconnect the stores and check their status. If you close the popup without reconnecting, the alert appears again the next time you open the dashboard.
What happens while the store is disconnected
Orders, messages and listings of that store are not synchronized with eBay. After the connection, synchronization restarts automatically.
