Price and stock monitoring

2 min read

How Droopify keeps Inventory listings in line with the supplier's product with Price Monitoring and Stock Monitoring.

Stock Monitoring

Droopify periodically checks the supplier's product of every tracked listing.

  • If the product can no longer be bought, or its shipping times exceed the store's Maximum delivery days, the listing becomes Out of Stock: the quantity on eBay goes to 0 and the listing stays published.
  • When the product is available again, the quantity on eBay goes back to the Default Quantity.
  • The reason appears in red under the row in the Inventory.

If Stock Monitoring is off, the listing's availability no longer changes when the supplier's does.

Price Monitoring

When the supplier's price changes, Droopify recalculates the selling price on eBay keeping the profit you set: Profit Percentage or Unit (Fixed profit), Price Cents, VAT (%) and eBay fees. The Purchase Price includes the supplier's shipping costs, if any.

If Price Monitoring is off, the selling price stays fixed even when the supplier changes price: check the Profit column, which may become low or negative.
