Create a draft
With the Create New Drafts popup you turn one or more Amazon or AliExpress products into drafts, ready to edit and publish on eBay.
Before you start
- Connect at least one eBay store (Add an eBay store).
- The store where you create the drafts must be visible: Publish on only lists the visible stores, chosen in Switch eBay Stores.
- New drafts get the store settings for that region and supplier (eBay Stores).
Creating the drafts
- In the Drafts page click Create New Drafts.
- In Publish on pick the eBay store. At first the Main Store is selected, if it is visible.
- In Supplier pick Amazon or AliExpress and in Sell in the eBay region. If you paste links, supplier and region are set automatically.
- In Product URLs or IDs paste the links or IDs, one per line. Empty lines and duplicates don't count.
- If you also want all the variants of the product (sizes, colours), tick Create All Variants.
- Check the number on the Create Drafts (N) button: it is the count of recognised products. Click it.
The message "The creation of new drafts has been started successfully." appears and the popup closes.
Accepted links and IDs
You can paste product page links or IDs (Amazon ASIN, AliExpress numeric ID). All links of one creation must be from the same supplier and region, otherwise the button shows 0. Which links are recognised and how the region is chosen: Accepted links and IDs.
Create All Variants
When the popup opens the tick follows the store setting Always create all variants for that region and supplier, and goes back to that value every time you change store, region or supplier (also by pasting a link): set it last. Drafts with variants appear as a group (Edit a group of drafts). For products with a very large number of variants only part of them is created.
What happens next
Creation runs in the background, usually in a few minutes: follow it in the Operations History of the Drafts page, Draft Creation section: each product shows "Draft creation in progress..." while it is being processed, a green check mark with "Draft created successfully" when the draft is created, or the reason for the error (or "Draft creation failed" if no reason is available). Created drafts appear in the table on their own.
Possible errors
