FAQ › Subscription and Payments

The subscription payment was not successful, what should I do?

1 min read

Click Retry Payment on the Payment Failed page, update your card in the billing portal and pay the outstanding invoice: once the payment goes through, the dashboard is available again.

What you see when the payment is not successful

If the subscription renewal fails, including the first payment after the free trial, the Payment Failed page appears instead of the dashboard, with your plan and its price. The subscription status is Payment Failed.

While the payment is outstanding you cannot use the dashboard or change plan.

Paying the outstanding invoice

  1. On the Payment Failed page click Retry Payment: the billing portal opens.
  2. Add a valid card or update the saved one.
  3. Pay the outstanding invoice.

Once the payment goes through the status goes back to Active and the dashboard is available again. If the card is declined again, check its details or try another card; for the reasons of the decline, contact your bank.

You do not want to continue

On the same page click or cancel your subscription and confirm in the billing portal (How do I cancel my Droopify subscription?). Log Out closes your session.

If the payment stays outstanding

If the invoice is not paid, the subscription can be closed and become Expired: to use Droopify again you will need to choose a plan again. What happens when it expires: Cancelling the subscription.
