How do I get Amazon invoices without a Business account?

Purchase invoices are issued by Amazon or by the third-party seller of the product, not by Droopify: you can get them even without an Amazon Business account, by adding your tax details to your Amazon account.

Adding VAT details to your Amazon account

Your Amazon account settings have a section for VAT information, where you can add your VAT number and billing details. The procedure and the verification are handled by Amazon: search for "VAT" in the Amazon help pages of your country. The details apply to purchases made after you add them.

Downloading invoices

For each order, the invoice can be downloaded from the order history of your Amazon account, when available. To find the Amazon order linked to an eBay sale, open the order details in Droopify and copy the Amazon Order ID.

Products sold by third-party sellers

If the product is sold by a third-party seller and not by Amazon, the seller issues the invoice. If you can't find it in the order, request it from the seller from the order page on Amazon.

Droopify does not download, store or request invoices from suppliers. To know which documents you need and how to record them, ask your accountant.
