The **Invalid email or password.** message appears both when the password is wrong and when the email does not match any Droopify account: check both, or reset your password.

## The email is not the one of your account

A typo in the email, or an email different from the one you signed up with, produces the same message as a wrong password. Check the address, including spaces and similar-looking letters.

## The password is not the right one

If you recently changed your password, or your browser saves it, you might be using the old one. Click **Forgot password?** on the login page, enter your email and click **Send Recovery Link**: from the link in the email choose a new password and log in with it ([Changing your password](https://docs.droopify.co/en/change-password)).

## You signed up with Google or Discord

If the account was created with Google or Discord, **This account is registered with Google or Discord. Please log in using the correct provider to continue.** appears. Log in with the Google or Discord button. If you also want to log in with email and password, after logging in click **Enable Sign In** on **Email & Password** in **Security & Access**.

## You made too many attempts

| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| **Too many attempts for this account. Please wait a few minutes and try again.** | Wait a few minutes before trying again |
| **Too many failed attempts. This account is temporarily locked, please try again later.** | Sign in is blocked for a while: in the meantime reset your password from **Forgot password?** and try again later |

## The problem is the security check

If **Security check failed. Please reload the page and try again.** appears, or a message asking you to disable ad blockers or VPNs, the problem is not the password: reload the page, disable ad blockers or VPNs for the site, or try a different network.

If no case matches, contact support with the email you are trying to log in with. Sign in settings: [Security & Access](https://docs.droopify.co/en/access-and-security).
