# How to Install iOS App

How to install the Droopify iOS App on your iPhone: it is not on the App Store and is installed with TestFlight.

## Before you start

- You have an iPhone with access to the App Store.
- You have a Droopify account to log in to the app.
- What the app does: [iOS App](https://docs.droopify.co/en/ios-app).

TestFlight is Apple's official app for installing applications not yet published on the App Store.

## Installing the iOS App

1. On your iPhone open the App Store, search for **TestFlight** and install it.
2. Open the Droopify invite link: [Install the Droopify iOS App with TestFlight](https://testflight.apple.com/join/jBa1Sm1M). The same link opens from Droopify in **Settings** > **Preferences & Tools**, **Tools** panel, **iOS App** entry, **Download now** button.
3. TestFlight opens on the Droopify page: accept the invite and install the app following the on-screen instructions.
4. Open the Droopify app from the Home Screen and log in with your Droopify account.
5. When the iPhone asks, allow notifications.

## Updating the iOS App

App updates come through TestFlight: when a new one is out, open it in TestFlight and install it.

## What happens next

After logging in you receive on your iPhone the notifications described in [iOS App](https://docs.droopify.co/en/ios-app). Which notifications you get is partly chosen in [Preferences & Tools](https://docs.droopify.co/en/preferences-and-tools), **Notifications** panel.

## Common problems

| Problem | What to do |

| The invite link does not open the Droopify app | Install TestFlight first, then open the link again from your iPhone |
| No notifications arrive | Check in the iPhone settings that notifications for the Droopify app are on and that you are logged in to the app |
| You have an Android phone | There is no Android app: use Droopify from the browser |
