With the **Grant Access Authorization** popup you let another Droopify account, for example a collaborator or a consultant, enter your account and manage it.

## Before you start

- The person must already have a Droopify account: you need the email they sign in with.
- Whoever has the authorization can fully manage your account: grant it only to people you trust.

## Granting the authorization

1. In **Security & Access**, in the **Active Authorizations** panel, click **Grant Authorization**.
2. In the **Droopify Account Email** field enter the person's email and click **Continue**.
3. In the **Confirm Access Authorization** step check the email shown and read the yellow warning.
4. Tick **I have read and confirm that I want to grant another Droopify account authorization to access and manage my Droopify account.**: only then **Grant Authorization** becomes active.
5. Click **Grant Authorization**.

## What happens next

**Authorization request sent successfully. Once accepted, the selected Droopify account will be able to access and manage your Droopify account.** appears, the popup closes and the request appears in **Active Authorizations** as **Pending**.

- The other person accepts it from their **Security & Access** page, in the **Client Authorization Management** panel. From then on they can enter your account from **Switch Account** ([Switching account](https://docs.droopify.co/en/switch-account)).
- Next to the account you then see the last access (**Last access on …**).

## Revoking the authorization

In the **Active Authorizations** panel click **Revoke Authorization** next to the account. **Access authorization has been revoked successfully.** appears and that person can no longer enter your account.

## Possible errors

If the request cannot be created, the popup stays open and the error message appears.

| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| **The email address entered is not valid. Please verify the data and try again.** | The field is empty or the email is not written correctly: check it and try again |
| **Could not grant the access authorization because no Droopify account uses this email. Check the email and try again.** | Ask the person for the email they use to sign in to Droopify, or have them create an account first |
| **You cannot grant access authorization to your own account. Enter the email of another Droopify account.** | Enter the other person's email, not yours |
| **You have already granted access authorization to this account (active or pending acceptance). You can find it in Active Authorizations.** | No new request is needed: check the account in **Active Authorizations** |
