This page describes how to edit a draft with variants (sizes, colours) that will become a single listing on eBay.

## Group and variants

- The **group** holds the shared listing data: title, description, category, brand, template, item specifics and schedule.
- Each **variant** has its own values (for example Color: Red), price, quantity, availability, monitoring and images.
- The group is published all together with the green **Publish** button on its row ([Publish Draft](https://docs.droopify.co/en/publish-draft)).

Variants are grouped only if **View Variants as Groups** is on in [Preferences & Tools](https://docs.droopify.co/en/preferences-and-tools). If it is off, each variant is a row of its own, is edited like a single draft ([Edit a draft](https://docs.droopify.co/en/edit-single-draft)) and is published as a separate listing.

## Group popup

In the [Drafts](https://docs.droopify.co/en/drafts) page click the group row or its yellow **Edit** button. The popup has the **Details**, **Variants**, **Template**, **Item Specifics** and **Other** sections; it has no **Price** and **Images**, which are in the variants.

- **Details**: **Title**, **eBay Store**, **Description**, **Category**, **Brand** and **Custom tag**, as in a single draft. Changing **eBay Store** moves the whole group. The tag chosen here shows on the group row.
- **Template** and **Item Specifics**: as in a single draft, they apply to the whole listing.
- **Other**: **Scheduled publication date** and **Ignore all warnings and publish the draft on the scheduled date.**, for the whole group.

## Variants

The **Group variants** section defines the options the customer chooses from on eBay.

1. With **Add variant** you create a new option and type its name (for example Color). If you rename an option, the new name applies to all products.
2. Under each option there is a card for every product of the group, with image and supplier link. Pick the value from the menu, or type a new one to add it.
3. The red button next to the name deletes the option; at least one must remain.

Products without a value show **Unassigned**. Saving is blocked, with a message, if an option is missing, a name is empty or repeated, or a product has no value. Two products can't have the same combination of values: "A variant with this combination of values already exists." appears. If deleting an option makes two products identical, they go back to **Unassigned**.

## Improve with AI in the group

In the group popup **Improve with AI** can also rewrite the variant values (the **Variants** option): in that case the changes are saved right away. Fields, cost and differences are in [Improve with AI](https://docs.droopify.co/en/improve-drafts-with-ai).

## Variant popup

Expand the group with the arrow and click the variant row or its **Edit**. The popup is titled with the variant name:

| Section | Content |
|---|---|
| **Details** | **Variant**: option names are fixed, you can change the values. Then **Product Code (SKU)**, **Selling Region**, **Ship from** and **Shipping Time**, read only |
| **Price** | The same fields as a single draft: monitoring, quantity, availability, price, markup, cents, VAT and fees ([Draft price](https://docs.droopify.co/en/edit-draft-price)) |
| **Images** | The variant images |
| **Other** | Shipping, payment and return policies, set by Droopify |

The variant popup has no **Improve with AI**.

## Save Changes and Reset Changes

In the group popup, **Save Changes** saves the variants first and then the other data: if saving the variants fails, nothing is saved, the popup stays open and the reason appears (for example "A variant with this combination of values already exists."). **Reset Changes** only resets the shared group data; each variant is reset from its own popup.

If "The draft or listing was not found. It may have been deleted: refresh the page and try again." appears, the group or one of its variants no longer exists: close the popup and refresh the page.
