# Automatic sponsorship

> The Automatic Sponsorship tab of an eBay store: fixed or dynamic sponsorship of new listings, percentages, eBay's terms and errors when saving.

What the **Automatic Sponsorship** tab does in the settings of an eBay store, for one region and supplier.

It opens from **eBay Stores** > **Edit** > region > supplier > **Automatic Sponsorship** and is saved with **Save Changes** ([eBay Stores](https://docs.droopify.co/en/ebay-account)).

## Fields of the Automatic Sponsorship tab

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Automatic listing sponsorship** | Sponsors listings automatically after publication |
| **Sponsorship type** | **Fixed**: the percentage stays the same. **Dynamic**: it changes daily based on eBay suggestions, up to the maximum you set |
| **Sponsorship percentage** (Fixed) / **Maximum sponsorship percentage** (Dynamic) | The percentage applied, or the cap of dynamic sponsorship (0 to 100) |
| **Adjustment percentage** (Dynamic only) | Percentage added to the value suggested by eBay; it can exceed the maximum percentage |

The new values apply to listings published after you save.

## Applying the values to listings already sponsored

With automatic sponsorship on, the **Apply this new value to all sponsored listings** box appears. Tick it before clicking **Save Changes** to also update the monitored listings of that region and supplier that are already sponsored.

## eBay sponsorship terms

eBay sponsors listings only if you have accepted the promoted listings agreement. The link **Accept eBay sponsorship terms and conditions before proceeding.** at the bottom of the tab opens the agreement page on the region's eBay site: accept it before turning sponsorship on.

## Errors when saving

If you ticked **Apply this new value to all sponsored listings**, Droopify updates the listings on eBay and waits for the answer. If eBay rejects the update, the error message appears instead of the success message; the other changed fields are saved anyway.
