# Automatic messages

The **Automatic Messages** tab decides which messages Droopify sends automatically to customers on eBay, for one region and supplier of the store.

It opens from **eBay Stores** > **Edit** > region > supplier and is saved with **Save Changes** ([eBay Stores](https://docs.droopify.co/en/ebay-account)). Each region starts with ready-made texts in that region's language, which you can change.

## Messages by order status

Each message has a switch (on = it is sent) and an editable text.

| Message | When it is sent |
|---|---|
| **Order status "Pending"** | Right after a customer buys a product from your store |
| **Order status "Ordered"** | After the product has been purchased from the supplier |
| **Order status "Shipped"** | After the product has been shipped |
| **Order status "Delivered"** | After delivery to the customer's address |
| **Order status "Cancelled"** | When you cancel the order, for any reason |
| **Listing offer** | Every time you send an offer to a customer from the [Offers](https://docs.droopify.co/en/offers) page using the default message (see below) |
| **Feedback** | After delivery, to ask the customer for a review |

## Message variables

In the text you can insert variables that Droopify replaces with the order data. The available variables are shown under each message:

| Variable | What it becomes | Available in |

| `{buyer_first_name}` | Customer's first name | All messages except **Listing offer** |
| `{product_title}` | Product title | All messages, including **Listing offer** |
| `{feedback_url}` | Link to leave feedback | From **Ordered** on, and **Feedback** |
| `{shipping_courier}` | Shipping courier | **Shipped**, **Delivered**, **Cancelled**, **Feedback** |
| `{tracking_code}` | Tracking number | **Shipped**, **Delivered**, **Cancelled**, **Feedback** |

## Listing offer

The **Listing offer** message goes with the offers sent from the [Offers](https://docs.droopify.co/en/offers) page. The offer text is chosen like this:

1. If you write a custom message in the offer popup, that one is used.
2. Otherwise, with **Use default message** on, the **Listing offer** text of this region and supplier is used, only if its switch is on.
3. If the switch is off or the text is empty, the offer is sent without a message.

In the text you can write `{product_title}`, which becomes the title of the listing the offer is for. No variable list is shown under this field.

## Delivery photo and location

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Send delivery photo** | Sends the customer the photo the courier took at delivery, when available |
| **Send delivery location note** | Sends the customer the courier's note on where the package was left, for example "In the mailbox" |
