# Delete Draft

The **Delete Draft** popup deletes from Droopify the draft, variant or group of drafts of the row you clicked.

## Deleting a draft

1. In the [Drafts](https://docs.droopify.co/en/drafts) page click the red **Delete** button on the row.
2. The popup shows "Are you sure you want to delete this draft? This action cannot be undone.".
3. Click **Delete Draft**.

| Row | What is deleted |
|---|---|
| Draft without variants | The draft |
| Group (with **View Variants as Groups** on) | The group with all its variants |
| Variant inside an expanded group | Only that variant; the others stay in the group |

While a draft is being published the button doesn't respond: wait for the publication to end.

## What happens next

"The draft has been deleted successfully." appears, the popup closes and the table refreshes. The draft disappears from Droopify and the action cannot be undone: to get it back you have to create it again ([Create a draft](https://docs.droopify.co/en/create-a-draft)). Nothing changes on eBay, because a draft is not published yet.

To delete several drafts together use [Delete Drafts](https://docs.droopify.co/en/bulk-delete-drafts) from the bulk actions bar.

## Possible errors

If the deletion fails, the popup stays open, the reason appears and the draft is not deleted.
