# Bulk Edit Drafts

> The Droopify Bulk Edit Drafts popup: eBay store, quantity, price cents, profit, monitoring, custom tag and reset on several drafts at once.

The **Bulk Edit Drafts** popup applies up to three operations to all the drafts selected in the [Drafts](https://docs.droopify.co/en/drafts) page.

## Before you start

Select the drafts, or use **Select All** to take all those found by search and filters ([Select several drafts](https://docs.droopify.co/en/bulk-actions-drafts)).

## Editing the drafts

1. In the bar at the bottom click **Edit Drafts**.
2. In **Operation** (**Add an operation**) choose what to change and fill in the values. You can add up to 3 operations and remove each with the X.
3. Click **Apply**.

Until you add operations, the popup shows the link to the **eBay Stores** page, where you change the default settings of all the drafts of a store ([eBay Stores](https://docs.droopify.co/en/ebay-account)).

## Available operations

| Operation | Fields | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| **eBay store** | Destination store | Moves the drafts to the chosen store. It only lists visible stores: to pick another one make it visible in [Switch eBay Stores](https://docs.droopify.co/en/switch-ebay-stores) |
| **Quantity** | **New Quantity** | Sets the default quantity |
| **Price cents** | **New Price cents** | Sets the cents of the selling price |
| **Profit** | **Mode**, **Profit Percentage (%)**, **Unit (Fixed profit)** | Changes the markup (see below) |
| **Price Monitoring** | **Enabled** or **Disabled** | Turns the automatic price update on or off |
| **Stock Monitoring** | **Enabled** or **Disabled** | Turns the automatic stock update on or off |
| **Custom tag** | Tag | Assigns a tag (typing a new name creates it) or removes it with **No tag** |
| **Reset** | **Reset to default values** | Brings the drafts back to the store default values (title, description, images, price, stock) |

## Profit operation

- **Mode**: **Set** replaces the current markup, **Increment** adds the value to it (a negative number reduces it).
- **Profit Percentage (%)** applies to drafts with a percentage markup, **Unit (Fixed profit)** to those with a fixed markup: each draft uses the field of its **Variation Type** ([Draft price](https://docs.droopify.co/en/edit-draft-price)).
- You can fill in only one of the two fields or both: only filled fields are applied. A field left empty leaves the profit of the drafts of that type unchanged.
- If you leave both empty, **Enter at least one of Profit Percentage and Unit (Fixed profit): a field left empty is not changed.** appears and the operation doesn't start.
- With a negative value in **Set** "Warning: you are setting a negative profit, you will sell at a loss." appears, but the operation starts.

## What happens next

"The operation has been submitted: it may take a few minutes depending on the number of drafts being edited." appears and the popup closes. Follow the progress in the [Operations History](https://docs.droopify.co/en/operations-history), **Operations** section: when it ends, the table refreshes.

## Possible errors

| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| **Error** | An added operation has no value: fill it in or remove it with the X |
| **Enter at least one of Profit Percentage and Unit (Fixed profit): a field left empty is not changed.** | In the **Profit** operation fill in at least one of the two fields |
| Another message | The operation didn't start and the popup stays open: fix what it says and click **Apply** again |

If the operation starts but some drafts are not changed, the row in the [Operations History](https://docs.droopify.co/en/operations-history) shows as failed with the reason, for example "Profit update failed: …": fix what it says, check the drafts and try again, or contact support.
